Several weeks ago all of Mike's siblings and their families got together for a little reunion and family pictures. We had a fun time and I think the pictures turned out GREAT. (considering we had several unhappy kids!!)

Great Quote

I was cleaning out my church bag today and found this quote we got in Relief Society several weeks ago:

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed some one's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."
Sister Hinckley

I LOVE this quote it is going on my fridge to remind me of what I really want!!

HELP

Okay, I need a little help from all of you that have finished reading Breaking Dawn. I am a little slow in getting started with the book because I wanted to finish listening to the other books on CD. I have been really good I haven't read any of the spoilers and everyone that has finished it seemed to really like it, which in turn had made me really excited to start the book. So, I started it this weekend and last night I finished with the second part Jacob. I hate to even say this, but I am not loving it! I want to! I really, really want to! But I'm not! Please Please Please tell me that I am not crazy!! Please tell me that it gets better!! I don't want the next part ruined for me, but please tell me that someone else felt the same way and that the next part will make it all better. Or I guess you can tell me that I am crazy!!

July

It is hard to believe that July has come and gone. I keep telling everyone that we are really boring and never do anything but in thinking back over this last month we have been gone 3 of the last 4 weekends! The weekend we did stay home we were in charge of our ward pioneer celebration and went to my cousin Jason's wedding at Targhee. I guess it true: Time flies when you are having fun!!
Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to:

This past weekend (Aug 1,2,3) we went and stayed in Hailey with Mike's sister Hayden. I wish I could say the trip was just for fun but it wasn't. Mike bought a backhoe in Boise and had to go pick it up. He and Josh went to Boise to get. They were also in the process of moving so we helped them pack a little and moved a lot of the big stuff . It was fun to visit and see the girls!! Tanner LOVES his cousin!! They had a blast playing!! He and Kendyl are sooo cute together!!

Tristen, Whitney, Tanner and Kendyl relaxing with a Popsicle!!

Tanner and Kendyl cooling off!!

July 11,12,13 we went to Kilgore camping with our good friends the Thomas'. It was a great weekend to be camping the weather was cool and the wild flowers were beautiful!! We rode 4 wheelers, played games and went swimming in the creek!!

Elly, Morgan, Makayla, Braden and Tanner on the front steps of our little cabin!!

Tanner loved their little 4-wheeler we had a hard time getting him off of it!! He did let Elly sit with him, but got mad when he couldn't be the driver:0)

Tanner played so hard he crashed in the hammock!!

Mike (Thomas) and Patti making breakfast!!!
We had a ton of fun camping in Kilgore and hope to get up there a few of more times in the coming months!!!

Our next adventure was the Clark family reunion July 17,18,19. I know that the majority of my blogg readers are family so I won't go into to much detail since you were all their :0) I also won't bore you with my 50 plus pictures since all of you have posted some GREAT pictures, but I do have a few of my sweet Tanner that are to cute not to post!!!

Tanner trying to fish. He wanted to do everything the big kids were doing!!
Like the pink fishing pole??
Tanner with his "Posse" as Rachel called them!!!
Hunter, Jayden and Braden were so cute and sweet to Tanner. They took him everywhere with them and took great care of him. He loved hanging out with his big cousins!!!!

Eating scones!!

Tanner taking his turn at the pinata!!!

Tanner riding the horse with grandpa Roger!!

We had a wonderful time at the reunion. It is easy to see that our family is truly blessed for the many relationships we have with our extended family!!

I know this post is already way to long but I just wanted to make a quick note to my little bro Adam that is on his mission in Florida!! I am horrible at writing, but I do know that he checks our blogg.

Hi Adam!!!!!

We LOVE you and MISS you and your are always in our prayers!!!

Summer Fun!!!

I finally bought Tanner a little wadding pool and he absolutely loves it!! It is almost impossible to get him out of it!! I learned the hard way though, it must be drained if we aren't playing in it because if we go outside for anything else he is in the pool shoes and all!! :0)

It took awhile to get him warmed up to the idea of getting in!!

The hat didn't last very long!! I think the hat is soooo cute but aunt Rachel thinks it's dorky!!!
This picture is my favorite!! I love the little legs trying to get in and out!!

911

I can't believe that I forgot to write about our exciting Friday night! Last Friday night we were just hanging out at home, my mom and dad had called and they were going to come over and visit. So when the doorbell rings I think that it is them and I am telling Tanner "O guess who is here! O Nana and Grandpa are here! yada yada yada" I open the front door with Tanner and guess who it is? Not Nana and Grandpa.....it is our friendly police officer Mike Miller wanting to make sure everything is okay!!! Apparently someone (TANNER) had called 911 and then left the phone off the hook and the dispatcher could not get a hold of us to make sure everything was alright!! Talk about embarrassing!! The joys of a toddler :0)

Good day/Bad day

How do you ruin a great day and the potential for a great week? I have the answer... Yesterday was a great day. I woke up, got in my workout, dropped Tanner off and he was actually happy when I left, and I got a ton of stuff done at work. I came home made dinner and we actually sat at the kitchen table to eat it. Mike played with Tanner while I cleaned up, then we actually did the whole bedtime thing... story, brush teeth, etc.... and Tanner goes down great. It is just a little before 8 p.m. Mike goes to check cows and I am thinking to myself (and this is the truth) "What a great day, look at everything I have done... the house is clean, all the laundry is folded! Man, maybe just maybe I can keep it together this week " Ha ha ha The phone rings and guess who it is??? O yes it is the Bishop wanting to know if Mike and I would speak in church on Sunday!! Ahhhhhh Talk about ruin my good day :0(
The moral of the story: When you think that life is going good and you have got it in control the Lord likes to humble you and make you stretch :0)

P.S. If anyone has any ideas, stories, poems etc... on testimonies feel free to share!!!

Sunshine...Blessed Sunshine!!

We had such an amazing day yesterday!! We woke up to blue sky's and sunshine. I got Tanner dressed put on his shoes and we headed outside. I think the poor kid was in shock!! I put him down on the grass and he just looked at me (with very squinted eyes because the sun was so bright) like really mom you are going to let me walk on my own outside. It took him a few minutes to warm up to the idea of being outside, but he loved it!! I pulled him around in his wagon, we rode the four-wheeler down to see Mike and the cows, we played with the puppy and swept out the garage.
I wish my camera wasn't broken (hopefully I get a new one for my birthday:0) For some reason Tanner liked crawling in the dirt better than walking so by the end of the day he was soooo dirty!! It would have been a great picture!
So, it is a official we are hooked on sunshine and can't wait to get back outside!!!

Easter (Better late then never)

I know Easter was a couple weeks ago but I thought I would share anyway!!
Tanner was sick Easter weekend but we still had fun hiding eggs for him. It took a few minutes for him to catch on, but after shaking one of the eggs and M&M's going everywhere (silly mom forgot to tape them shut!!) He was on the run looking for more eggs!

I think that having a little one definitely makes the Holidays a lot funner!!

Warning

Okay, so after two very enjoyable months of being a blog stalker I have succumb to the peer pressure and have started our family's blog. I will warn you right now we are quiet boring and very computer illiterate. So, bear with us as we begin our blogging adventures!!
