I am a little slow in getting started with the book because I wanted to finish listening to the other books on CD. I have been really good I haven't read any of the spoilers and everyone that has finished it seemed to really like it, which in turn had made me really excited to start the book. So, I started it this weekend and last night I finished with the second part Jacob. I hate to even say this, but I am not loving it! I want to! I really, really want to! But I'm not! Please Please Please tell me that I am not crazy!! Please tell me that it gets better!! I don't want the next part ruined for me, but please tell me that someone else felt the same way and that the next part will make it all better. Or I guess you can tell me that I am crazy!!Mike and Kimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10718935969113161274noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8298789589734359398.post-17527087654853188272008-08-03T20:36:00.000-07:002008-12-10T13:09:40.885-08:00July
It is hard to believe that July has come and gone. I keep telling everyone that we are really boring and never do anything but in thinking back over this last month we have been gone 3 of the last 4 weekends! The weekend we did stay home we were in charge of our ward pioneer celebration and went to my cousin Jason's wedding at Targhee. I guess it true: Time flies when you are having fun!!

Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to:

This past weekend (Aug 1,2,3) we went and stayed in Hailey with Mike's sister Hayden. I wish I could say the trip was just for fun but it wasn't. Mike bought a backhoe in Boise and had to go pick it up. He and Josh went to Boise to get. They were also in the process of moving so we helped them pack a little and moved a lot of the big stuff . It was fun to visit and see the girls!! Tanner LOVES his cousin!! They had a blast playing!! He and Kendyl are sooo cute together!!

Tristen, Whitney, Tanner and Kendyl relaxing with a Popsicle!!

Tanner and Kendyl cooling off!!

July 11,12,13 we went to Kilgore camping with our good friends the Thomas'. It has been awhile since I have posted anything and after being accused of being a blog dropout:) I have rededicated myself!! I have finally figured out my new camera and I am back in the habit of taking pictures!! So ready or not here we come!!!Mike and Kimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10718935969113161274noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8298789589734359398.post-35690454980008411752008-04-18T16:51:00.000-07:002008-04-18T17:06:11.697-07:00911I can't believe that I forgot to write about our exciting Friday night! Last Friday night we were just hanging out at home, my mom and dad had called and they were going to come over and visit. So when the doorbell rings I think that it is them and I am telling Tanner "O guess who is here! O Nana and Grandpa are here! yada yada yada" I open the front door with Tanner and guess who it is? Not Nana and Grandpa.....it is our friendly police officer Mike Miller wanting to make sure everything is okay!!! Apparently someone (TANNER) had called 911 and then left the phone off the hook and the dispatcher could not get a hold of us to make sure everything was alright!! Talk about embarrassing!! The joys of a toddler :0)Mike and Kimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10718935969113161274noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8298789589734359398.post-9482084134728063392008-04-16T19:11:00.000-07:002008-04-16T19:36:06.287-07:00Good day/Bad dayHow do you ruin a great day and the potential for a great week? I have the answer... Yesterday was a great day. I woke up, got in my workout, dropped Tanner off and he was actually happy when I left, and I got a ton of stuff done at work. I came home made dinner and we actually sat at the kitchen table to eat it. Mike played with Tanner while I cleaned up, then we actually did the whole bedtime thing... story, brush teeth, etc.... and Tanner goes down great. It is just a little before 8 p.m. Mike goes to check cows and I am thinking to myself (and this is the truth) "What a great day, look at everything I have done... the house is clean, all the laundry is folded! Man, maybe just maybe I can keep it together this week " Ha ha ha The phone rings and guess who it is??? O yes it is the Bishop wanting to know if Mike and I would speak in church on Sunday!! Ahhhhhh Talk about ruin my good day :0(
The moral of the story: When you think that life is going good and you have got it in control the Lord likes to humble you and make you stretch :0)

P.S. If anyone has any ideas, stories, poems etc... on testimonies feel free to share!!!Mike and Kimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10718935969113161274noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8298789589734359398.post-60241522162815862472008-04-13T15:19:00.000-07:002008-04-13T15:49:22.256-07:00Sunshine...Blessed Sunshine!!
We had such an amazing day yesterday!! We woke up to blue sky's and sunshine. I got Tanner dressed put on his shoes and we headed outside. I think the poor kid was in shock!! I put him down on the grass and he just looked at me (with very squinted eyes because the sun was so bright) like really mom you are going to let me walk on my own outside. It took him a few minutes to warm up to the idea of being outside, but he loved it!! I pulled him around in his wagon, we rode the four-wheeler down to see Mike and the cows, we played with the puppy and swept out the garage.

I wish my camera wasn't broken (hopefully I get a new one for my birthday:0) For some reason Tanner liked crawling in the dirt better than walking so by the end of the day he was soooo dirty!! It would have been a great picture!

So, it is a official we are hooked on sunshine and can't wait to get back outside!!!
Mike and Kimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10718935969113161274noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8298789589734359398.post-91870739650116261692008-04-09T15:50:00.000-07:002008-04-09T16:00:38.262-07:00Cute Blog!!
Doesn't my blog look cute?
